How Perfect Are You?

Hey there guys. How was your day? I hope you all are doing well. Today we will be discussing an important topic How Perfect are you? In today’s modern world everybody wants to be perfect but I wanted to point out that humans are imperfect and the perfect way to become comfortable with it is to accept it. We are surrounded by people who are always trying to become the best in everything they try. I mean to say don’t try so hard. If you are natural tendencies go that way then only you could try but other than that I see no reason in doing that. Famous philosophers have advised on this topic but it seems that we all are ignorant and we don’t want to learn. One of my favorite philosophers Charles Bukowski once said “Don’t try and if you are going to try go all the way”. His story is really an inspiring one. For almost his entire life he was naturally drawn to writing. Whatever job he did for his living he always wanted to be a writer. For a very long time he switched back and forth between other jobs and writing but never truly achieved what he wanted. During his final years he left everything for writing and he was finally recognized. His works are some of the best works in philosophy. If you are someone who likes philosophy then feel free to check out his books. He finally achieved what we call perfection. But you would realize that he got that when he went the way where he was naturally capable. His life has taught me one important thing in life that we all try too hard to become that next ‘someone’ but we often fail to focus on what our natural abilities are.I hope you liked my short article. Hope to see you in my next article.

“For everything in this journey of life we are on, there is a right wing and a left wing: for the wing of love there is anger; for the wing of destiny there is fear; for the wing of pain there is healing; for the wing of hurt there is forgiveness; for the wing of pride there is humility; for the wing of giving there is taking; for the wing of tears there is joy; for the wing of rejection there is acceptance; for the wing of judgment there is grace; for the wing of honor there is shame; for the wing of letting go there is the wing of keeping. We can only fly with two wings and two wings can only stay in the air if there is a balance. Two beautiful wings is perfection. There is a generation of people who idealize perfection as the existence of only one of these wings every time. But I see that a bird with one wing is imperfect. An angel with one wing is imperfect. A butterfly with one wing is dead. So this generation of people strive to always cut off the other wing in the hopes of embodying their ideal of perfection, and in doing so, have created a crippled race.”

“[F]or just one second, look at your life and see how perfect it is. Stop looking for the next secret door that is going to lead you to your real life. Stop waiting. This is it: there’s nothing else. It’s here, and you’d better decide to enjoy it or you’re going to be miserable wherever you go, for the rest of your life, forever.”
