What Is Your Worst Nightmare?

Hey there guys. How was your day? I hope you all are doing well. Today we will be discussing an important topic What is your worst nightmare? At some point in your life you must have experienced nightmares. Nightmares is the thing which occurs to almost anyone and everyone on the planet. Most nightmares occur during our childhood. But it is not that if you are an adult then you are saved. You also might have nightmares. They are an interesting phenomena and in fact the whole dream scenario is something that the scientists are unable to decipher. The workings of the human brain is still a mystery and I hope we will someday find exactly how our brain works. Coming back to the topic of nightmares. I feel that nightmares occur to those people mostly who are hyper sensitive. I myself am an HSP and I often have nightmares. It is due to our extreme sensitivity we often see nightmares. It has been found in several pieces of research have shown us that hyper-sensitivity and nightmares have a strong correlation. I know the fact that correlation is not causation but the point I would like to point out is that correlation is not always causation but often times it is. We humans often tend to ignore that fact and feel that correlation doesn’t means causation. There are many things which we should consider while reading about nightmares. There are any exact data as to how many people actually have nightmares and what are their ages and other such data. But I could say that we lack the technology to get our exact information. We need more technological advancements to know exactly what causes nightmares and how to overcome them. Dreams in itself are too mysterious and we know so little about it right now.I hope you liked my short article. If you are a researcher or someone who has knowledge on this topic then feel free to share it down in the comments section below. “The stuff of nightmare is their plain bread. They butter it with pain. They set their clocks by deathwatch beetles, and thrive the centuries. They were the men with the leather-ribbon whips who sweated up the Pyramids seasoning it with other people’s salt and other people’s cracked hearts. They coursed Europe on the White Horses of the Plague. They whispered to Caesar that he was mortal, then sold daggers at half-price in the grand March sale. Some must have been lazing clowns, foot props for emperors, princes, and epileptic popes. Then out on the road, Gypsies in time, their populations grew as the world grew, spread, and there was more delicious variety of pain to thrive on. The train put wheels under them and here they run down the log road out of the Gothic and baroque; look at their wagons and coaches, the carving like medieval shrines, all of it stuff once drawn by horses, mules, or, maybe, men.”
― Ray Bradbury, Something Wicked This Way Comes

“I think that love is stronger than habits or circumstances. I think it is possible to keep yourself for someone for a long time, and still remember why you were waiting when she comes at last…. I would enter your sleep if I could, and guard you there, and slay the thing that hounds you, as I would if it had the courage to face me in fair daylight. But I cannot come in unless you dream of me.”
― Peter S. Beagle, The Last Unicorn

“Finnick and I sit for a long time in silence, watching the knots bloom and vanish, before I can ask, ‘How do you bear it?’
Finnick looks at me in disbelief. ‘I don’t, Katniss! Obviously, I don’t. I drag myself out of nightmares each morning and find there’s no relief in waking.’
Something in my expression stops him.
‘Better not give in to it. It takes ten times as long to put yourself together as it does to fall apart.’
Well, he must know. I take a deep breath, forcing myself back into one piece.”
― Suzanne Collins, Mockingjay
